Excel Plug-in#

The Quantamatics platform includes a purpose-built Excel plug-in for accessing and using fundamental and alternative data sets directly in Excel.

Prerequisites#

These are the prerequisites for installing and using the plug-in:

  • Windows version 7 operating system or higher. (Windows version 10 or higher is recommended)

  • Office Excel (desktop) application version 2013 or higher

Please note the plug-in is not compatible with Mac (Apple) operating system or versions of Microsoft Office installed from the Microsoft Store.

Download and Install#

If you experience any issues signing in to the Quantamatics application or installing the plug-in, please contact our support team at support@quantamatics.com.

To download and install the plug-in:

  1. Close all open instances of the Excel desktop application

  2. Navigate to the Quantamatics application and sign in

  3. Click Get Excel Plug-in in the left navigation menu to download the plug-in

  4. Click to open the Setup.exe file that was downloaded and complete the installation

Plug-in Updates#

Updates to the plug-in occur on a regular basis, to provide enhancements and apply fixes. These updates are triggered when Excel is opened, similar to other plug-ins, and an update dialog appears momentarily.
